Getting Started

How can I contact Charleswood Roofing & Exteriors?

What information is required to provide a quote?

We will request general information, such as name, contact information, address and a description of the work you would like us to quote on. If you have any photos you would like to provide, please email us at inbox@cwrmb.com and include your name, address and any details pertaining to the photos.

How can I book an appointment?

You can call our office at (204) 505-3051, email us at inbox@cwrmb.com or walk in to our office at 1279 Loudoun Road. We will take your contact information and pass it along to our sales team who will be in touch with you promptly to provide a quote for your project.

Do I need to be home during the estimate?

While we can provide a quote if you're away, we love to meet our customers in person! We can discuss specific details and options for your project, as well as show you samples of different materials and colour choices.

During Your Project

I've decided to proceed with Charleswood Roofing. What are the next steps?

Please contact your Sales representative to let them know you'd like to move forward. They can assist you with colour choices, understanding your options and upgrades, and walk you through signing the estimate and providing a deposit.

Once you've signed your estimate and provided a deposit, our team will get your project booked in. We will be in touch with you regarding delivery date of materials (if necessary) and let you know when our team will be on site to perform the work.

When will you start my project?

This depends on many variables such as the size of the job, availability of materials, our current job queue, among other factors. Once you have received an estimate, we will be able to give a timeline for production. During peak season we aim for between 2–6 weeks.

Do I need to be home during the work?

While you generally don't need to be on site, our team may request that you be available if indoor access is needed for things like an attic inspection, for example.

We request that you remain available via phone, text or email for project updates as needed.

How should I prepare my property before the crew arrives?

Prior to beginning your project, we ask that any animal feces be removed from the yard as a courtesy to our staff. Please remove any delicate yard items, fixtures, christmas lights, patio furniture, etc. prior to our crew arriving. We require all vehicles to be moved off of the driveway and out of the garage.

Freshly cut grass will ensure our magnet sweeping and clean up is as thorough as possible—the shorter the grass is when we arrive the better! We will need access to a power outlet as well as an exterior spigot/garden hose (during summer months).

Do your crews clean up after the project is done?

Yes! Our goal is to leave your property the way we found it. If you have concerns with the clean up that was done, please contact our office at (204) 505-3051, inbox@cwrmb.com or by stopping by our office at 1279 Loudoun Road.

Payments & Warranties

How do I pay?

In order to get started, we require a deposit on your project. The amount will be noted on your estimate. Once the work is complete, our office team will email your invoice.

You may pay using credit card via the link in your estimate. We also accept e-transfer to inbox@cwrmb.com, cheque by mail to PO BOX 21037 RPO Charleswood, Winnipeg, MB R3R 3R2, or by cash or cheque in person at our office located at 1279 Loudoun Road.

What type of warranty will my project have?

Charleswood Roofing & Exteriors guarantees all workmanship for 6 years. This pertains to our installation methods and techniques, warrantied for 6 years from the date of completion. Our workmanship warranty covers our roofing and exterior jobs. Service work and repairs are executed with a high level of workmanship and integrity and are not covered by warranty.

Materials used will have their own manufacturer warranty which is separate from our workmanship warranty. Varying material and product warranties refer to the guarantees provided by manufacturers that cover defects or failures in the materials themselves, such as shingles, underlayments, accessories, siding, and more.

Charleswood Roofing & Exteriors has been serving our community and surrounding areas for over 15 years. We started here, we've grown here and we're still here!

Does Charleswood Roofing use subcontractors?

In order to facilitate fluctuations in demand for roofing and exteriors, Charleswood Roofing uses a combination of in-house staff as well as sub-contracted crews who we maintain as trusted companions on a long-term basis. This allows us to run lean during off-season, while maintaining a core group of staff. It also allows us to treat both our employees and our subcontractors fairly and to provide excellent, timely service to our customers.

All of our workmanship, whether done by in-house staff or by sub-contractors, is subject to the same scrutiny and attention, and at no time is your job "handed-off" from our oversight. We guarantee our crews and we ensure that they are representing our company with our values at the forefront of the customer experience.

Do you have a showroom?

We do! Product samples can be seen at our office at 1279 Loudoun Road.
